London UK Based Singer, Instrumentalist, Writer, Actor, Voice Over


Not only is Sandra-Mae a talented singer, composer and multi-instrumentalist, she is also a professional comedic actor who got her start performing multiple characters in David Sedaris's "The SantaLand Diaries." This critically acclaimed two-handed production of "The SantaLand Diaries" became the highest-grossing production ever at Presentation House Theatre in North Vancouver, BC.  


Produced by Bill Allman and starring alongside veteran comedian/voice-over/performer Alan Marriott, Sandra-Mae had outstanding reviews for her multiple roles, including 29 costume changes!

Sandra-Mae is currently writing a musical comedy double-act with Alan Marriott featuring her multifaceted musical and comedic abilities  that will be featured in the Edinburgh Fringe in 2017.

Edinburgh Fringe festival 2017

Sandra-Mae will be performing two shows in this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the largest arts and comedy festival in the world. 

Beauty & The Beast

Beauty & The Beast (An Improbable Love Story) is a musical/comedy cabaret double act written by Sandra-Mae Luykx, Alan Marriott and Bill Allman. It features original songs and well-known cover songs, improv, comedy, multi-instrumental and vocal talents and much more. Sandra-Mae and Alan Marriott are accompanied by the fantastic Matt Grinke on piano. For more information on the show, click here

Will Shakespeare's Impro Musical

Sandra-Mae is also part of Will Shakespeare's Impro Musical a the Fringe Festival, a totally improvised musical based on Shakespeare's most famous plays. In it, she will be playing saxophone and singing backing vocals. For more information on this show, click here

Sandra-Mae now played improv piano for the weekly improv show Slattery Night Fever featuring the legendary Tony Slattery of Whose Line Is It Anyway and many other luminaries of British improv. She also plays for Grand Theft Impro and the legendary Comedy Store Players
